Lions, Tigers & Bears ...oh my!

About 2ish 3 weeks ago, when there was a Monday of no school....so the 2nd week of school (for UofA), Brian and I decided to spend our free day at the ZOO!!! Yep, there is a Zoo in Tucson and it has over 20 animals haha. Somehow we magically spent the ENTIRE day there. First I have to say that Brian LOVES giraffes. With a passion. So when he heard they were having their giraffe day there he was super excited.

(PS- did you hear the kid in the video say "monkey butt" hahah, thats the best part of the video. Their butts have no hair, so its pink skin, Pretty funny)

Just a few things we saw were polar bears (in arizona? yep!), monkeys, parrotts (that wanted to kill me because I was copying them! haha), elephants (who sprayed us with mud!), a lion, tiger, jaguar, you name it we might have seen it. Oh and of course giraffes!

So we payed a little extra to get to feed the giraffes. And it was soo fun! I recommend everyone does that at least once in life! Did you know their tongue is black? And about 20 inches + long!! Yeah, it is so true. Believe it or not I found that out for myself in the next picture. Brian finds this picture hilarious, I almost cried...

As you can see that tonguey almost got me!! I was going to feed Alberto (is what I call him) some food when that tongue stretched farther than Texas towards me, so I got scared and retreated...I was going for the fetal position, but I didn't make it. Anyway, Alberto and I are cool now because I very nicely laid the biscuit thing on his nasty tongue and ran away. But I couldn't leave without a picture first. So here is Brian and I, and Brian's new best friend, Alberto.

I don't know if you noticed but I am trying this new layout. Let me know what you think. I miss the other one, it was more simple, but I wanted to change things up. Also, I was considering making this a private site, but I have too many fans that aren't bloggers. hahaha. kidding. Anyway, that idea was veto-ed. One more thing, I just realized how to add friends, I think, maybe. So will you be my friend? Send me your blog address :)

One more thing

I am scared of stalkers, post your email address and I will add you to my blog list of friends, if I can figure it out :) Gracias a todos.

It's about time

Yes people! It is about time. Wedding pictures are in the house!

So besides that, what have we been up to?

Well, this past weekend we went up to Glendale to visit my familia for my mom's BIG birthday, I won't say the age mom haha.

Lately Brian and I have been SUPER busy. Did I mention that I am 2nd counselor of primary at our Spanish branch, and Brian is the Young Men's President? Yep. So we are always at church or meetings or preparing lessons. In fact, today was my first sharing time....for the record, I am NEVER having kids. haha. seriously. Ok maybe I will have some but not for a while. Until I grow some patience or something. Anyway, Brian and I are super excited because we get the wonderful opportunity to go to New York this week! YAHOO! My cousin is getting married (it's married season people!) So I am a bridesmaid and Brian is a groomsman haha. Don't worry we will post some pictures when we get back. The best part is Brian has NEVER been to NYC, although he has been all over South, Central & North America and Europe. So I am excited to show him around my hood!
