funny picture time

I decided it is funny picture time again. I have too many and someone else needs to enjoy these as much as I do! Once again, I believe the pictures speak for themselves....but if you would like to guess what is happening in the picture, don't be shy and guess!

What is John doing?

No, it is not Halloween...

only a select few know why this picture continuously makes me laugh. However, look closes and you too can be in on the secret

What is happening to Natalie?

So, there really are no words for these last two...

small blessings

no not babies

i was thinking more like the Dollar store! haha. laugh now, but seriously, a little heaven on earth, especially on your wallet! So I went there the other day and forgot how fun and amazing it was and now that is my first place to go! They have everything there, and I don't even care if it is cheap because I am poor and saving for dream vacations.

SOO, now you all know where your Christmas and Birthday presents will be from! HA!

Visit the Dollar Tree...where everything is $1!!!!

March Madness

My bracket is still alive if Kentucky can make it to the championship! ha.

In other "march madness" news:
-natalie had a bachelorette party (it wasn't in March, but she did get married in march) she was a beautiful bride!

-Here is cute little Carson turning one! It's amazing how fast babies grow! Anyway, Emily and Brad did a great job and it was a fun party!
BEFORE

AFTER

-Brian, myself, and his parents and Abby went to Southern Utah for Spring Break. We Made it to Zion's National Park for a quick hike and a scenic drive. It is beautiful, I highly suggest everyone goes.

-We also went to Brian Head for some snowboarding. Lots of fun and it is my new favorite ski place, not busy, LOTS of snow, 6 hour drive from Prescott and a full day of skiing was a whopping $20.
Brian and I before we hit the slopes snowboarding

Abby, on an adaptive ski

Mortenson family on the snow mobiles

-Visited with Laura, Joseph and our favorite little miss Bentlee! I couldn't believe how much bigger she has gotten.

- Abuelita Graciela aka Grace aka Tachita turned 86!!

- Peru is in our near future,
we bought the tickets...so now we HAVE to go. But first I must survive girl's camp....speaking of which, does anyone know anything about girl's camp, because I am "in charge" and know nothing. Any help is appreciated.

I should be studying

when i should be studying for midterms...i squeeze some time in for blogging.

I don't have anything interesting to post. so this is what you get:

Natalie got married this past weekend! yay!
I was sick yesterday...boo!
Going to do some fun stuff with the Mortenson family for Spring Break!! (snowboarding at Park City, UT)
Decided I am going to Peru this summer for two weeks with the family...heck yeah.
Going to girls camp too. I am the camp leader, lol.
Will anyone hire me in the summer for one month? Any ideas?

As for Europe. It is still in the mix. Brian and I are planning to tackle this trip next spring (after graduation) when we have a whole semester to backpack through some of our dream places together. I really can't wait.

Also, what is up with all the earthquakes? Haiti, Chile, Turkey... I need to start my food storage.

Funny story: At Natalie's wedding, right after the sealing, we are waiting for her and Andrew to come out of the temple and a little boy runs up behind me and yells "MOMMMMMYYYYY!!!" He clutched onto my ankles while throwing himself on the ground and then begins to force his little head between my legs. At first I am in shock, I look at Brian for help. He is too busy laughing to help me at all. Then I say, "hey kid, I am not your mom. Now don't go between the legs!" while the family is laughing I realize I recognize the little boy to be Natalie's older sister's son. SO, I keep saying "get your head out of there!!" while tightening my legs together to try to not let him through. Then I say "look there is your mom!!", his mom runs up and says "look it's me, mom! get out of there!". Meanwhile the photographer is snapping pictures along with the other bystanders. Finally the boy realizes I am not his mom, but refuses to let go of my ankles. After some sweet talking done by his mother, he lets my legs free! . just so everyone knows, as the night progressed, parents kept handing me their kids, hoping they would think I was their "mom". not funny. So just to clarify, because people will ask me, in NO way does this story mean I am going to have a baby anytime soon...just to clarify that.

boh!
