Bake a cake!! It is that easy.... here is how:
Problem: My young women, and the young men in my Branch do not have enough means to get to camp, so maybe you can help...
Solution: A Cake Auction!! My young women planned an activity to raise money so they can go to camp and have activities for the rest of the year. (the Young men are also helping, we decided we'd split the money raised 50/50).
What is a Cake Auction?
It is literally a cake-auction. Someone bakes a cake, and it is auctioned off to the highest bidder to eat and enjoy.
Considering we are a Spanish branch I have requested that the girls also make drinks to sell, like: Horchata, agua de jamaica and tamarind drink. If you have never tried any of these, try them!! They are all delicious.
It is a fun event and a great cause. Please please please come, and if you can't come then tell your friends, maybe they can go. And, just letting you know that donations are also accepted.
(By donations I mean cakes, brownies, cupcakes, anything dessert-like and edible and also money is welcomed)
